School referendums win, lose in West Bend
Voters in the West Bend School District appear to have split on a pair of large school referendums, according to unofficial returns.
The larger of the two referendums, covering $41.5 million, has been rejected by 53 percent of voters with 47 percent voting in favor.
But on the $27.4 million ballot issue, the vote is split 50-50 with 100 percent of precincts reporting. Currently 5,971 voters have endorsed the referendum, with 5,897 voting against.
