Election Night events set
Gov. Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch will weather the returns from their recall elections in the GOP stronghold of Waukesha County later this evening, while Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett will be in his hometown with Dem lt. guv nominee Mahlon Mitchell.
Walker's event takes place at the Waukesha County Exposition Center, while Barrett will be at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Both events begin at 8 p.m.
Election Night events are also set in the four state Senate recall elections:
- GOP Sen. Van Wanggaard and former Dem Sen. John Lehman will each be in their native Racine; Wanggaard at Buona Vita Pizzeria and Lehman at the Racine Labor Center.
- Sen. Terry Moulton, R-Chippewa Falls, will be at the Fanny Hill Victorian Inn in Eau Claire, while former Dem Rep. Kristen Dexter will be in Eau Claire's Pizza Plus Eatery.
- Rep. Jerry Petrowski, R-Marathon, will be at the Relocation Bar in Mosinee, while fellow Rep. Donna Seidel, D-Wausau, will be at the Labor Temple in Wausau.
- Senate GOP Leader Scott Fitzgerald will hold his event in Watertown, while Dem opponent and recall organizer Lori Compas will watch returns in Cambridge.
