Dem group launches ad against Hovde, Thompson
Majority PAC, a Dem group targeting U.S. Senate races, has unveiled its first Wisconsin TV ad of the 2012 cycle, criticizing GOP candidates Eric Hovde and Tommy Thompson.
The ad, titled "Street Signs," shows signs with their street names changing into Wall Street and K Street, respectively.
"If Eric Hovde becomes our senator, he won't be representing Wilson Street or Lombardi Avenue or Main Street," an announcer says, charging that Hovde invested in "bailout-funded banks involved in fraudulent loans" as a D.C. fund manager.
"And Tommy Thompson? He raked in millions on K Street working for a Washington, D.C., lobbying firm that represents pharmaceuticals and insurance companies," the ad continues.
"So how could Hovde or Thompson ever represent us?" the spot ends.
