Fitzgerald raises $41k in second quarter

Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald has raised $41,032 from April 1 to June 30, far below that of his rivals in the U.S. Senate race.

Fitzgerald has only brought in $144,000 in the U.S. Senate campaign so far, though his second quarter numbers were an improvement over the approximately $25,000 raised in the first quarter. Fitzgerald had hoped to bring in more money as a result of his surprisingly strong showing at the May GOP convention.
