Fitzgerald released new radio ad touting credentials as conservative
Jeff Fitzgerald has released a new radio ad touting his credentials as a conservative in the state Assembly.
The 60-second ad, entitled "Trust", begins with two women lamenting the fact that that there is "another election" complete with new ads. However, one of the women says it's important to send a "battle-tested conservative" like Fitzgerald.
"Jeff Fitzgerald?" The first woman asks. "Isn't he the Assembly speaker who helped Gov. Walker enact his budget reforms?"
The other woman then lists other accomplishments in the Assembly such as concealed carry and voter ID. She also notes his pledge to repeal Obamacare.
The first woman then responds that she's "sold" on Fitzgerald because he "stood up to the liberal speech interests" and that they need someone like that in Washington D.C.
Fitzgerald then comes in near the end of the ad, saying he's giving up his place as Assembly Speaker because Washington needs the same "political courage" he displayed.
