Neumann ad criticizes Hovde
Mark Neumann’s campaign today released a TV ad that accuses Eric Hovde of lying about the former congressman’s record and seeks to tie the investment banker to Barack Obama and Jim Doyle.
The spot opens by saying Neumann has a 96 percent rating from the American Conservative Union and was ranked "Wisconsin’s most conservative congressman in decades."
"So why is Eric Hovde lying about Mark Neumann?" the narrator asks.
The spot then says Hovde supported billions for high-speed rail like Obama and billions more to bail out banks.
"No wonder Hovde gave money to elect Jim Doyle," the narrator says before the spot closes. “Eric Hovde: too liberal with the truth -- and your money.”
