New Hovde TV ad hits back at Neumann for Club for Growth ad
A new TV ad from Eric Hovde attributes a recent negative ad from the Club for Growth to Mark Neumann, saying that Neumann's negativity goes back to the 2010 campaign against now-Gov. Scott Walker.
The 30-second ad starts by claiming Neumann voted for "over 2,000 earmarks, including the bridge to nowhere" and also hits him for taking stimulus money for one of his solar companies.
"First Neumann viciously attacks Scott Walker, saying Walker has no concern for taxpayers," the narrator says. "Ridiculous. Now, negative Neumann is making false attacks against conservative businessman Eric Hovde." It then shows a clip of the Club for Growth ad.
The ad ends by saying "We've had enough of 'negative Neumann.'"
At no point in the ad does it identify the anti-Hovde ad as being run by Club for Growth.
