New Neumann ad uses cow to criticize Hovde

A new TV ad from former Congressman Mark Neumann uses a cow and Hovde's own recorded statements to accuse Hovde of not being a "real conservative."

The 30-second ad is a take-off of his earlier radio ad, which pointed out statements Hovde made that seemed supportive of bank bailouts and higher taxes. The ad replays the statements, while asking what the difference is between Hovde and "Ol' Bessie the cow."

After replaying the statements, the narrator says, "The difference? Old Bessie is a real cow. Eric Hovde's not a real conservative."
