Thompson released new TV ad on repealing Obamacare

Former Gov. Tommy Thompson has released a new television ad focusing on his pledge to repeal the health care reform law.

The 30-second TV ad, which is titled "Road to Repeal," takes most of the points made in his 60-second radio ad related earlier this week, but includes visuals of Thompson riding a Harley-Davidson through the roads of Wisconsin. The narrator says Thompson has "always fought for freedom" noting his repeal of welfare as Wisconsin governor. The narrator notes Tammy Baldwin's support of the health care law and states that Thompson will be the "51st vote to repeal Obamacare."
