Thompson releases new radio ad focused on repealing Obamacare
Former Wis. Gov. Tommy Thompson has released a new radio ad that claims he'll be "the 51st vote" to repeal Obamacare.
The 60-second ad, entitled "Road to Repeal," starts with a narrator saying Thompson has "always fought for our freedom and he always will" as rock music plays in the background.
"Tommy ended welfare, freeing a generation from dependency on government," the narrator says. "And Tommy will end Obamacare too, freeing us from its grip on our economy and our health care decision."
The narrator then says that Baldwin wants to expand the law while Thompson testified to Congress against it. He then describes Thompson as a "proven winner," highlighting his history of tax cuts and job creation as governor.
"And Tommy's economic plan will restore America by capping spending, cutting job killing regulation and reforming entitlements," the narrator says.
The ad ends with the narrator calling Thompson "a conservative leader who can get our economy back on track."
