Thompson, Hovde change weekend plans for Ryan visit
With newly minted VP choice Paul Ryan headed for Waukesha today, at least two of the U.S. Senate candidates are changing their plans a bit.
Former Gov. Tommy Thompson will still hold rallies in Green Bay and Waukesha with former presidential candidate Herman Cain, but is pushing back the times. The Green Bay event will now take place at 12:15 while the Waukesha rally will be at 2:15.
Businessman Eric Hovde has also canceled a tea party rally in Racine as a result.
