Thompson raised $308k in less than a month, including $100k loan
Former Gov. Tommy Thompson raised $308,383 from July 1 to July 25, though nearly a third came from a Thompson loan, according to his pre-primary report filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Of that amount, $199,383 was raised from individuals, while the other $9,000 came from PACs. Thompson also loaned the campaign $100,000.
The campaign also spent $736,118 during the same time frame, leaving him with $352,915 in cash on hand.
