Voices from the crowd
Lori Kolosowsky and Sally Eubanks from Watertown both say they are independents who support Romney and Ryan.
“We can’t take four more years of Obama,” Kolosowsky said. “He hasn’t been a leader and hasn’t done anything. He keeps passing the blame to everyone else instead of doing something about it.”
“We don’t need hand outs we need hand ups,” she said. “We want to work for it but we need the opportunities to do so.”
Eubanks said she is supporting the two because of health care.
“I love Paul Ryan; he speaks in plain terms that I can really understand,” Eubanks said..” I am voting for Romney Ryan because my health insurance keeps getting more and more expensive. It started as a $1400 premium and is now well over $2000.”
Greg Randall of Waukesha, a Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War, said the rally energized him.
“I feel invigorated, energized and excited to go out and vote after listening to Romney speak,” he said.
When asked why he is voting for Romney he said “bottom line, we need a leader.”
“This country is going a direction I do not agree with and we need to get it back on track,” he said.
