DSCC hits Thompson in new TV spot for making millions from special interests
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee knocks Tommy Thompson in a new TV ad for “making millions from the special interests at our expense.”
The spot opens with a picture of Thompson on the side of a corporate jet as the narrator says Thompson went to Washington over a decade ago, “and he hasn’t looked back.”
The narrator goes on to say Thompson sold his influence and connections, becoming a partner at a Washington lobbying firm and working for “Wall Street and the big drug companies” while making millions.
The narrator then says, “Thompson even admitted” as the ad cuts to video of Thompson saying, “Washington changed us.”
“Yes, it did,” the narrator says to close the spot.
