Ribble ad: 'Count on me to protect Medicare'
U.S. Rep. Reid Ribble today announced a new TV ad telling voters they can "count on me to protect Medicare."
The Sherwood Republican opens the spot speaking to the camera, saying politicians are locked in a "full-scale war" over the program and engaged in a "mindless and dishonest political game."
Ribble says while seniors depend on Medicare, the program is "on a path to bankruptcy," charging that President Obama "cut $700 billion from Medicare to pay for his health care law."
"If we don't save Medicare, every generation will suffer," Ribble says.
