DCCC ad targets Duffy over Medicare, congressional benefits
A new TV ad from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee charges that U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy took an axe to Medicare.
"Congressman Duffy said he'd bring the axe -- and did he ever," an announcer says as footage of the Weston Republican chopping trees in one of his previous ads rolls on screen. "Trying to gut Medicare ... essentially ending it, and increasing costs over $6,000 a year."
"But Duffy's pay? He voted to protect it, and give Congress taxpayer-funded health care -- for life," the spot continues. "Congressman Duffy just doesn't get it."
