Groups start new TV ad in Green Bay declaring Romney 'is Bain Capital'
The union affiliated Workers’ Voice and Dem super PAC Patriot Majority announced today they are running a new TV ad in the Green Bay market that declares Mitt Romney "is Bain Capital."
The groups are also targeting Ohio votes with the spot, which is running in Youngstown, Ohio, and Pittsburgh to hit western Ohio.
The narrator says Romney created Bain Capital, made a fortune from it and remains invested in it.
"And right now Bain is shipping jobs to China and forcing workers to train their Chinese replacements," the narrator says.
The ad then features Tom Gaulrapp, identfied as a 33-year employee of Sensata in Illinois.
"The week before they came, they took the American flag down that flew outside the plant, and the week after they left they put it back up, like we’re supposed to be ahsmed that we’re Americans," he says.
"Outsourcing jobs, taking down the flag, no wonder Mitt Romney wants to hide from the truth," the narrator says to close the spot.
