New ad targets Baldwin over 'foreign policy extremism'

Conservative group Emergency Committee for Israel today announced a "significant buy" of TV time for a new ad criticizing Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin.

The 30-second spot begins with an announcer saying Baldwin "hopes you don't notice her foreign policy extremism," charging that the Madison Dem voted against sanctions on Iran and accused Israel of war crimes.

"This year, she even attacked the NYPD for monitoring Islamic extremists," the spot continues.

The group said in a statement that the ad will air "hundreds of times statewide over the next two weeks on cable and broadcast television, including during Green Bay Packers games."
