New DSCC ad ties Thompson to support for outsourcing jobs
A new TV ad from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee targets Tommy Thompson for his ties to companies that outsourced American jobs.
The 30-second TV ad begins with the face of an American worker looking into the camera while the narrator says "Losing a job is hard, but for Tommy Thompson, it's easy."
The ad then mentions his time working for a lobbying firm and accuses him of working for a company "helps outsource American jobs."
"Under his leadership, companies sent nearly 1,500 jobs overseas," the narrator says. "Technology jobs to China, manufacturing jobs to Mexico and millions in profits for him."
The ad ends by saying "When Tommy Thompson moves in, the jobs move out. He's not for us anymore."
