Pro-Romney super PAC adds new spot to TV buy
The pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future has added a new spot to its latest TV buy, this one featuring a former business partner of the GOP presidential hopeful praising him for helping find his daughter.
The spot opens with a man identified as Robert Gay, who says his 14-year-old daughter had disappeared in New York City for three days.
He says his business partner “stepped forward to take charge.” He says the partner closed the company, brought most of its employees to New York, promised they’d find her no matter what it took, set up a command center and searched through the night.
“The man who helped save my daughter was Mitt Romney,” the man says, making his first mention of Romney by name. “Mitt's done a lot of things that people say are nearly impossible. But, for me, the most important thing he's ever done is to help save my daughter.
