Romney campaign releases new TV ad
Mitt Romney’s campaign unveiled a new TV ad today featuring a woman identified as a small business owner who says she’s disappointed in Barack Obama “as my president.”
The woman, identified as Melanie McNamara, says Obama promised to bring people together and they’d prosper.
“I don’t see the prospering,” she says.
As she speaks, messages flash on the screen saying there are more than 450,000 additional women unemployed since Obama took office and the national debt has reached $16 trillion.
McNamara says she voted for Obama in 2008, but he “doesn’t have my vote this time” before she explains why she’s supporting Romney.
“Being a woman, you think about your children and you think about their future. And what I want to think about is a future that has jobs,” she says. “That our economy’s growing again. That’s important to women and it’s important to me.”
