Thompson TV ad slams Baldwin for voting against honoring 9/11 victims
Tommy Thompson’s campaign is out with a new TV ad this morning that charges Dem opponent Tammy Baldwin voted against honoring victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
The spot opens with a shot of the wreckage following the bombing then a scene of flags on a hillside and memorials to the victims of the attack.
The spot features three veterans, including Ron Amato, who calls the vote “a slap in the face to every one of their families and anyone who has ever served in the United States military. Tammy Baldwin’s extreme, far left approach leaves this country in jeopardy.”
Timothy Thiers then adds, “It's a very dangerous path Tammy is leading us on” before Amato closes the spot, “What would you do if these were your children? How would you feel?”
