Zerban debuts first TV ad
Rob Zerban has rolled out the first TV ad of his campaign against Janesville U.S. Rep. and GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan.
The spot opens with an announcer criticizing Ryan's House budget proposal over footage of the congressman, charging that the budget "has been called dangerous, cruel and deeply wrong."
"The Ryan plan ends Medicare, slashes funding for college loans and gives millionaires a lavish tax cut," the announcer says.
Zerban, D-Kenosha, then says the country "is stronger when we invest in the middle class" and vows to "never cut Medicare benefits, ever."
Zerban's campaign manager said Thursday that the ad buy was for "a lot" and that it would cover the entire 1st CD.
