State Dem Party ad urges people to vote Democratic to 'stand up for women'
A new radio ad from the state Democratic Party urges people to vote Democratic to "stand up for women."
The narrator in the 60-second spot asks voters if they "want to be a nation that treats women with respect and dignity, or one that views women as inferior, unequal before the law?"
The narrator then says "time and again Republicans have worked against women" and criticizes what she describes as Republicans' record on equal pay for women, Planned Parenthood funding and violence against women.
"And not only have Republicans refused to combat violence against women, they've endorsed a candidate who's bragged about sexually assaulting women," the narrator says.
The narrator then says "we must set a better example for our children" before describing Democrats' support for equal pay for women, funding Planned Parenthood and increased penalties for violence against women.
"On Nov. 8th," the narrator says, "vote Democratic and stand up for women across Wisconsin."
